Not being able to access your work email because you lost or forgot your password can be a frustrating experience. At Walmart, we recognize that our employees need to log in to their accounts quickly and easily, especially when they’re on the go. That’s why we now offer two-step verification as an additional layer of security during the login process, giving you more flexibility as well as peace of mind as you enter your credentials every time you want to access your account from anywhere. In addition, if you lose your device, we make it easy to access your account from another device.

I’m used to reading about Walmart’s new initiatives on their Twitter feed, but today I saw something different. It was a Facebook post showing how they use Walmart workday login for their staff members, giving them access to all of their information in one place. Two of these users have been using Wmlink/2Step On A Walmart since it launched in 2014 and have been full converts since day 1. With over 80,000 employees at Walmart UK alone making use of Workday logins, I figured it was time for a closer look. Let me walk you through how they’re using 2Step Authentication with Wmlink and how it works for them.

Walmart Workday Login Information

To log into your account, you need your username and password. You can reset your password from any page, but if you have 2 Step Verification turned on, you’ll also need a code generated by an app or sent as a text to verify your identity. In order to complete 2 Step Verification, you must have a smartphone or have access to a mobile device that has internet access enabled. If that is not possible then please call our Call Center at 1-800-WALMART (1-800-925-6278) and we will help you with completing 2 Step Verification over the phone. Follow these steps

Although a little different from logging into your Amazon account, Walmart Workday will take you through a step-by-step process to securely authenticate your identity. Walmart has 2FA available for employees and customers alike. The first step is similar to Amazon, simply logging in with your username and password. If you’re an employee, you’ll want to click on the Show barcode below that line of text. Just like Amazon, once you have shown that barcode there will be a QR code that can be scanned by a mobile device for authentication purposes.

After entering your number and answering your security question, a text message will be sent containing a code that you must enter in order to finish setting up two-step verification 6. If you are already logged into Workday Web, just choose 2Step on an APP, and then it will automatically take you back into Workday.
