Roles and Regulations of Catalase and Catalase Positive Organisms

Catalase

Catalase is an enzyme that is formed in all aerobic organisms. It is known as H2O2 which is present in the water and oxygen. Able to provide the energy to the cells to find the environmental stress.  Situated in the H202 of the plants and plays an important role in the production of cellular environments.

●    Cellular Functioning

Oxygen is one of the important needs for human life. When we breathe oxygen from our mouth, the human body produces free radicals in the body. These molecules are moving continuously. They make more molecules in the body which have negative impacts that affect the proteins,

cell membrane, and DNA structure. This is the cause of many harmful disorders such as infections, mental health disorders, and weak immune systems. Catalases fight against the free radicals and reduce their harmful effects that.

●    Grey Hairs

In the present day, scientific studies show that the grey hairs on the human body are the cause of low levels of catalase. The human body produces hydrogen peroxide naturally. Catalase has the ability to break the hydrogen in the oxygen water. When the level of catalase is low and can’t break hydrogen, then hydrogen bleaches the hairs on the human body.

●    Food Industries

It is one of the enzymes that are vastly used in the food industry. In the production of cheese, it is used to remove the hydrogen peroxide from the milk. It is also used in the production of wrappers to stop the oxidizing of the food.

●    As a Cleaning Agent

It is one of the enzymes which is used to remove hydrogen from the fabrics in the textile industry. It is also used to clean mirrors, lenses, and used in the solutions of lenses.

Factors of Enzymes

●    Temperature

The level of enzymes and substrates can be reduced at the low temperature because the movement of their molecules becomes low and their reaction can also be below. 37o C is a level of temperature in which the enzymes work properly in the human body and the human body can maintain this temperature. At high temperatures, enzymes disrupt their functioning in the human body and will be denatured.

●    pH

Enzymes become sensitive in the pH. Changing the level of pH can change the functioning of enzymes. Amino acids are the molecules that carry the negative and positive on them in the enzymes. They are attracted to each other. Changing the level of pH can have negative impacts that affect the charge on the amino acids in which they no longer attract each other.

List of Catalase Positive Bacteria

●    Staphylococcus

This nectarine causes several skin infections such as skin lesions. It also causes deep infections. They are gram-positive organisms. In some cases, it causes a wide range of diseases. Many people have antibodies that can produce a large amount of Staphylococcus and are not protective to the body when infections occur.

●    Pseudomonas Aeruginosa

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a bacteria that is a common Gram-Negative cause of many diseases in plants, animals, and even humans. Its advanced mechanisms are associated with serious diseases. It is one of the types of bacteria which is found in the environment. It also causes infections in the human body in the blood, lungs, and other parts after surgery.

●    Aspergillus Fumigatus

It is a bacteria that is one of the members of the Fungus family. It is usually found in environments such as plant matter, soil, dust. The fungus is a bacteria that produces spores. Most individuals breathe in these spores daily. A person who has a healthy immune system can clear this but a weak immune system can suffer from the infection by inhalation from these spores.

●    Candida Albicans

Candida albicans is a bacteria that is part of the natural flora. It is usually found in the human body. Mostly there are no issues in its presence but sometimes it may cause the growth of the infections. Fungal infections can occur by this bacteria. White patches can be produced in the infected place of the body.

●    Enterobacteriaceae

Like other bacterias, this bacteria is also a cause of many serious infectious diseases. It can reduce the normal functioning of the human body. This bacteria has a large number of pathogens. These pathogens can disturb the normal bloodstream that is a cause life-threatening.

●    Mycobacterium Tuberculosis

It is a bacteria that is one of the parts of the Staphylococcus family which is the cause of many infectious diseases such as tuberculosis. This mostly causes the death of humans. It directly affects the nervous system and the organs system of the human body. It is a killer infectious disease.
